Data Protection

The practice uses computerised records and is registered under the data protection act. All records are held securely on our server in a password protected database and patient confidentiality is ensured at all times.

Our data protection officers, Amy Forster-Brain and Laura Eyre, ensure that the practice complies with data protection requirements to ensure that we collect, use, store and dispose of your information responsibly, reflecting general data protection regulations.

Cross Infection Control

Our surgeries are designed in a manner to ensure that the best cross infection and hygiene standards are in place for your peace of mind. We have a central sterilization facility in line with the latest Department of Health cross infection recommendations. Our Clinical Practice Coordinators ensure that the latest updates with regards to cross infection control are implemented and that all staff are aware and appropriately trained with regards to cross infection control protocols.

Radiography

We use low dose, digital, x-rays that yield high-quality diagnostic information. Please speak to your Dentist if you have any concerns regarding radiation exposure.

Disability Access

There are various facilities for the disabled throughout the practice from disabled lavatory facilities, ramps and widened doorways.

Freedom of Information Act

The Practice has a publication schedule under the Freedom of Information Act.

NHS Zero-tolerance Policy

We will act in accordance with the NHS Zero Tolerance Policy toward violent or abusive patients in the rare event of such a situation arising.

Complaints Procedure

We have a complaints procedure at the practice. Laura (Bloxham Dental Practice) and Amy (Bloxham Dental @ Banbury), our practice manageress’ will be more than happy to discuss any complaints or concerns you may have. Our complaints procedure is also available on display in each of our practices.

Both practices are CQC registered – Our registered managers are Amy Forster-Brain and Laura Eyre.
